Who We Are
Our Story
As a child, we were taught that besides getting a good education, we must strive to find a home for our future families. Day by day, we work hard with the tools given to us, yet there comes a time when life hits us too hard. There were times when my family was homeless, but the most severe was in 2018-19. We were forced to sleep in hotels and barely got by. It was a constant struggle to find a safe place for my family of eight, but I was lucky enough to have some family connections to help me before the pandemic hit. After dealing with this horrific situation, it made me think of others. Only some are fortunate enough to have connections like me. After many months of thinking about this situation, I thought, "Why not be the connection?" That's why I'm here today. To help those who need help with housing so they never have to worry about where they will lay their heads at night. Where do they need to go next for a nice bath? I won't allow anyone else to experience that terror, not if I can help.
Our Philosophy
We approach each client with compassion, respect, and empathy. Striving to create a safe and welcoming environment for all. We are their beacon! We bring them hope when all seems lost. If no one else lends a hand, then we'll be the first link! Our job...is to bring them hope.
